Description
🌿 Tomato Candela F1 is a high-vigor, indeterminate hybrid tomato with a compact plant structure and exceptional foliage cover, making it an ideal choice for both open field and protected cropping (greenhouse) in regions like Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, and Malawi. With a yield potential of up to 160 tonnes per hectare in the open field and 300 tonnes per hectare in the greenhouse, this variety is highly productive. It produces large, round, slightly flattened fruits with bright red color, excellent firmness, and a long shelf life. These fruits, weighing between 200–250 grams, mature in 80–90 days. Candela’s strong disease resistance package makes it resilient against Tomato Mosaic Virus (ToMV), Verticillium Wilt, Fusarium Wilt, and Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV).
